Sindonggung in Gangnam, Seoul: Grilled Pork Backbones and Fried Rice

Sindonggung’s grilled pork backbones are the main dish in this visit photo diary. The Korean name on the menu is 뼈숯불구이. The photos follow a plate of the bone-in meat through to a fried-rice finish, rather than a pot of gamjatang soup.
The dish on the plate
The photographed plate has large bone sections in a red sauce, with shredded cabbage and a pale dressing at the front. Side bowls and a separate soup are visible too. The useful distinction when ordering is the Korean name: a restaurant with 감자탕 in its sign may also serve this grilled backbone dish.

Do not choose from the English word “ribs” alone if the exact cut matters to you. Save 뼈숯불구이 and show the menu item or a photo at the table. The visit set does not confirm which soup was in the separate black bowl, so I have not named it as an included item.
Finishing with fried rice

Later photos show fried rice beside the remaining meat. 볶음밥 is the Korean name to look for if you want to ask about that finish. Confirm whether it is a separate order and when the staff recommend adding it.

What the photographed menu says

The board shows grilled backbones in three sizes at KRW 38,000, 45,000 and 52,000, with fried rice at KRW 3,000. Those figures belong to the photographed menu and must not be treated as current prices at every branch.
